The Upside Down House

While we were finalising the last few points for the contract, Jon and Shaun took the opportunity to get on-site and do some early exploration (from 9th June). Here are some of their photos…

The kitchen – sunny all day long (any takers for an oil-fired Aga?)

Dining room to lounge – Brickhurst’s new nerve centre

Hall to utility – the glass screen to the lounge will be gone soon…

Master bedroom – parquet removed so the drop in the floor surface is more obvious

Master en-suite – we’re keeping the bath suite, naturally…

Family bathroom – the new wardrobe

Second bed – no nasty surprises in the ceiling luckily. Still working out door options…

Back of the house – the balcony will be getting a makeover

The undercroft – doors on each end will make this the new shed
