The end of the first week and this was the view after three days. Jon and Shaun’s team are making great progress and the weather looks like it’s playing ball.
Somewhere under all that rubble is the car inspection pit…
A few gotchas crept in, with suppliers forgetting their window sizes, a rethink about the oil tank in the front garden and some limitations on gas/electricity meter positions, but nothing insurmountable.
On the flip side, the small amount of asbestos that was discovered has been removed, and an opportunity to sound proof between the ceilings and the floorboards has arisen, which will make for a better nights sleep for everyone…
